Schengen visa for Netherlands used for Germany

Post by fdkn » Tue May 17, 2011 2:23 pm

Hello, I have already obtained a multi-entry schengen visa for Netherlands thats valid until august.

But recently I received an interview request by a company in Germany which has provided me with an invitation letter as well and they are willing to guarantee my travelling expense.

So I was wondering if its advisable that I could travel to Germany first for a brief 1-3 day period and then come back to the UK and then travel to Netherlands afterwards.

If I do so, should I just take supporting documents for my stay at Germany or should I take something for Netherlands as well?

Furthermore, I have a south asian passport and have obtained a schengen visa for sweden before. Does this affect my situation in any way?

You may travel to all Schengen-countries, and enter as often as you wish.

In your case you can explain it easily, should they ask, so take supporting papers with you, just in case.

This should usually turn out a smooth ride...

...make sure you don´t overstay, since each day in Schegenland counts towards expiry of your visa!

Thanks!

I wont be staying more than 10 days at either places. Will the immigration control in Germany ask about my travel plans for Netherlands?

regards,
