Contact details on Spouse Visa Application

Hello, I would like to ask a question please.

I have submitted my case few months ago for spouse visa, but my wife (my sponsor) has got a new number, which is different to that on the Application form. Do you think the UKBA would have tried contacting her?

If they did try to contact her but didn't get through, would they then try to contact me? My number is the same as on the form, just hers has changed.

I am a little worried as I read in another post, they could reject the case, on the basis of no contact was possible. But that was for the applicant, not the sponsor.

I am due to hear any day now for the result of my case, please help.
