Age points for extension

Post by arun_prasad » Wed May 18, 2011 2:34 pm

Hi

I'm currently filling my forms for tier 1extension. Have quick question around it. When I checked the points on pbs calculator I was awarded 20 points for age as I'm 28 now and had my initial application done during June 2008.

But the forms says its 10 points for people who are 28 or 29 years old. Are the rules for extension different ??? Or has something changes after April 6 2011.

Any help would be highly appreciated.

It is always helpful to read the policy guidance before filling up the form.

Read the question - it is not based on your current age - it is simply based on the amount of points you claimed when you first applied.
G1. Please tick the relevant box to confirm the points claimed by the applicant on the basis of his/her age at the date of application for the first grant of leave in the category.
