Indefinite Leave to Remain

Post by krishna11 » Wed Apr 13, 2011 11:40 pm

hi,
I came into the UK in september 2006 under SUPERVISED PRACTICE NURSES VISA (not workpermit but I worked fulltime job during this period with this visa) then I got my work permit in JULY 2007 (after my nmc PIN). In which case, would i be able to apply ILR in september 2011 if they accept my accept my supervised practice period towards ILR?
thanks
krishna

Caseworkers are not allowed to apply discretion when the entry clearance as student nurse (to do supervised practice and employment in the UK) was granted after 2005.
ILR in closed categories wrote:When not to use discretion
You must not apply discretion to nurses applying after 2005 under the Overseas qualified nurses and midwives permit-free immigration category.

Provided you meet the requirements for settlement as a WP migrant, you may be eligible for settlement in 2012.
