ILR over 2 years

Post by wrxsux » Wed May 25, 2011 8:29 pm

Hello,
Please can you advise me in this situation.
I had a ticket booked for London yesterday but when I arrived at the airport, airline said they would not accept me because I have been out of UK for 2 years and 2 week.
According to them, they contacted UK embassy and they said that I should 'visit the embassy'.
Please can you advise me on this situation and should I be applying as a returning resident. If so, what paperwork would be needed.
Thank you in advance.
Alex
