Recent ILR - Late Arrivals to UK

Has anyone entered the UK late after received the initial HSMP and have got the ILR recently after the changes on 06th April 2011?

Kindly post your case as after reading so many post on this forum, there are still a discrepancy of extending the Tier 1 or upto 3 months gap is acceptable.
