HO reply on Review request

Hi All,

Please, see response I got from HO on my Review Request. Does it mean that my request has been granted or what is the "security reason" about?

I have called same number on several occassions to no avail. Application is out-of-country.

Mail From HO states :

Dear applicant,

Thank you for your email. The decision on your case has been made but unfortunately due to security reasons I can't disclose the outcome via email, please ring us on 0114 207 6020 or wait for the decision letter that was sent out on the 11th July.

Well they say this is everybody...but I have found this practice to be very vauge...at times they tell you the decision over phone and at time they don't...in my case when i called then up to find out the result of the decision they told me it's been made but they will not tell it to me over phone....now they are saying you to call and inquire..strange!!!
Well this does not in any case signify the decision...it could be either way round...they can only notify the decision through post and by no other means...

Hi,

I am also waiting for response on my review request. Trying to contact home office from last 20 days. and got the same reply every time, my application is send to emabassy for verfication checks, they can not update further until they get the response from them.

Can anybody have any idea how long that verification process takes???
I applied from pakistan, anybody else have got stucked at same possition?????? plz share.
