ILR to spouse after 4yrs together from embassy overseas

Post by samo0o » Tue May 31, 2011 1:24 am

Dear All Good day,

I'm british married to a forgin wife we both work and live overseas and we have a 4yrs old son registered at the embassy with full british cetizenship documents.

I've been through a sentence on the UK Border website 2 years ago which says:

if a british cetizen gets married to a forigner and stayed togther for 4years or more overseas, he or she can apply for ILR oversea and may get it approved from their british embassy at once!?

is it still the case or i got it wrong?

thank you very much for your valuable help.
