Hi and thanks to all in advance who reply. I am British national and my spouse is non eu national I am a bit confused about eu nationals free movement .and how that right of free movement can be exercised for instance I eu national and my spouse non eu national want to go to France for holidays how I can exercise free movement right as I have read on schengen visa form it says
While exercising their right to free movement for non eu spouse.
The fields marked with * shall not be filled by family members of eea/eu citizens spouse, child, dependent
1. bank statement
2. employment details etc.
While exercising their right to free movement .
Family members of eu/ eea or czech citizen shall present documents to prove this relationship.
Currently we both are in Pakistan and I want to exercise free movement right from Pakistan.
. .. does my husband currently have freedom to travel to France for visit purposes, on the basis that I am an EU national?my nationality is british . I want us to holiday in Paris for a couple of weeks in the summer and according to the schengen visa application form, he has rights of freedom of movement as an EU Spouse, is this right?,
its only for visit 30 or 60 days . and i have plane to settle in ireland after a while ireland consulate is asking bank statement of 6 months . with transactions we will have to run account for that.
we have a balance of 4000 pounds but consulate told me we have to run statement properly only balance is not enough so thats why we are thinking of applying visa for any eu country .
but we dont want to make mistake and get refused thanks again. same post i have posted in eu forum as well .
