Overtime

Post by Polat » Sat Jun 04, 2011 1:50 pm

I dont know if I should ask this question or not .. but just I want to make sure of every thing :) ...
is the over time income may affect ILR application ...
I work every weekend (at least staurdays and some times sundays) also some times I work during nights therefore, I get extra money for this and on average for the last 3 years I take from 8000 to 10000 pounds over time per year ... it is mentioned clear in my payments slips that it is ovetime ...
please note that my basic salary is above minimum requirements in codes of practice.
any problem with that ?

You don't have a problem as long as your basic pay is at or above the appropriate salary rate for your job according to the COP. I'm presuming you're in a Tier 2 category.

Yeh, the same applies to Work permit holders as well. Your employer would have to certify in writing that you are being paid at the appropriate salary rate.
