ILR - 10 Years GAP Query

Hi,

I am planning to Apply for ILR based on 10 Years completion which is on 22 October 2011. Currently my visa is Valid until Jan 2013. My problem is last time when i applied for extension, it was the last date of my visa. I mean i submitted my visa extension on last day of my visa expiry and Home Office send me acknowledge receipt just on next day.
Then i received my visa after 3 months time so will that effect in any ways as i am applying for ILR.
Please let me know will be very helpful at this situation.
