Urgent Treatment Form - please advise me guys

Post by bobbie » Wed Jul 12, 2006 1:24 pm

Hi guys,
Can someone tell me the status of the queue now to get HSMP. At present I am working in U.K in a graduate level job after completing M.Sc here under fresh talent scheme. I would like to speed up my HSMP approval time because I am about to get another good job. But the thing is I will get that new job only if i get hsmp becoz the new job is for a minimum of 2 years. Can somebody advise me about the urgent treatment form.

Regards,

Bobbie

Bobby,
I guess you can file for an urgent treatment if your job depends on it...it wud be good if you kind of attach any proof that you will be taken for the job if u obtain HSMP....it normally takes 3 months otherwise (minimum)..
You can only file an urgent treatment if you have some significant reason...I don't know how long can your prospective employer waits for u but even the Urgent treatment of your case will atleast take arnd 25-30 days..just a guess....

For urgent treatment you need evidence (such as letter, etc) from your prospectice employer that you have been offered the job. Thus, ask you prospective employers to write you a letter and submit it to HMSP together with urgent treatment form. Oral approval is not enough.
