Hello

I just read the new consultation for prosposed changes for settlement.
If i clearly understand, it says there would be no automatic settlement after five years of stay if somebody switched into Tier1 and 2 in April 2011 and onwards.

Does this mean, if somebody converted into Tier 1 General would need to meet new criteria (would be announced after consultation) for Indefinite Leave to Remain?
