10 years long residence SET (O): Clarifying the 28 Days Rule

Post by DEVONIAN » Wed Jun 15, 2011 11:13 am

Hi guys, my wife would like to apply for her ILR but needs clarifications about the 28 days rule. Is it 28 days or 28 working days? She entered the UK on 10 July 2001 and has since been legally living here -- initially on student dependant visa, subsequently on student visa and currently on work permit visa (which expires in Dec 2013, but she needn't wait until 2013 since she qualifies for the 10 Year Route to ILR). No gaps in visa renewals and no criminal records. Gurus in the house, please help! THANKS.
