ILR - Biometic Residence permits?

Post by Percy » Tue Jun 21, 2011 11:46 pm

Hi all, I am preparing for ILR - 10 yrs long residence now. I have one problem now.
I changed from Tier 4 - student to PSW (Tier 1) in July 2010. I had a biometic residence permits which has residence permit for July 2009 to July 2010 (so no stamp on my passport)before the PSW visa.
When I applied for the PSW, I sent the Biometic residence Permits to the Home office. The home office only returned my passport with stamp for PSW.
Now my visa history on the passport has 1 year gap. my police registration certificate has all the information.

Will this affact my application? Is there any way to sort this out?
Many thanks.

I think the Immigration would have all your record. Also you could send the letters you received with the student and PSW visas that should explain everything.
