ILR long residence? Forms?

Post by koshynita » Wed Aug 02, 2006 5:47 pm

Dear all

I was wondering if anyone could help me out!

I will be eligible to apply for ILR on 10 yr stay soon.
I have been here lawfully since sept 1996.
My wife came to join me in 1998 but then has stayed outside uk for 6-8 months and has only started living continuously in uk (with less than 3 months absences)since 2002.

My children aged 10 & 6 yrs have similar story to my wife. They were both born in india.

In essence though i have 10 yrs continuous residence, my wife & children have been living continuously only since 2002.

My question is which forms to use for us?
Is it setO form for all of us ?
Could anyone inform me which forms & how much should i pay for each at home office?
Will i be able to apply for ILR for all?
your valuable help is much appreciated
Thanking in advance
yours

Use Form SET(O). Under the long residence category you may not include any dependents. You need to submit a Form FLR(M) along with the SET (O) - add the children as dependents to your spouse's FLR(M). They will get 2 year visas. 28 days before the 2 years are up your spouse should submit a SET(M) form again with the children as dependents and they will all get ILR.
