I would like to sponsor my parents to the UK as a family visitor to help me with child care.I have been in the UK for only 1 month but have a visa under Tier 2 intracompany transfer for 2 years.Is there any requirement that I should have stayed in the UK atleast 6 months before I can sponsor my parents or can I sponsor them right away.

Need the forum's valuable advise please.

If they are coming to help with child care, they are considered as coming to work (even though it is unpaid work) So they will be denied. Dont make the mistake of mentioning that anywhere in your application.

I still need clarity on how soon can I sponsor a family visitor.Is there any requirement to have been in UK for 6 onths before I can sponsor them ?

Hello All,

Can any of the members please clarify whether a family visitor visa can be sponsored for a relative if the sponsor has been in UK for only 1 month ?
The sponsor has a two year valid visa but has commenced work only one month .Is it possible to sponsor a relative for a 6 months visa under such circumstances ?
