Post study work visa application in person?

Post by ashleyramchurn » Thu Jun 30, 2011 12:20 pm

Hi..i have been in UK as a student for 8years. I received my Masters results this week and i'm now maintaining the balance required to apply for post study work and hope to apply in first week of Oct. My Uni course ended last March and while awaiting for results, i enrolled for a course with a college and received visa till 06/2013. My question is shall i apply for the post study work visa in person or by post? (I've always worked 20 Hrs a week) This may lead to 10 years long residency, therefore an advice from u guys will be much appreciated, thx.

Any method of application will do the job.

As far as 10 years Long residence rule is concerned, I'll say keep your eyes and ears open.
Govt. is consulting on settlement rights and Long Residence may or may not survive that long.

Read the application form and guidance, you should be able to do on your own.
