WORKPERMIT 2008 - TIER 2 (ICT) 2010 - ILR

Post by prasanna_1975 » Thu Jul 07, 2011 1:55 pm

Hello,

I came to UK during 5th May 2008, but my visa was stamped eary Apr (10th Apr) for 2 years. During Apr 2010, we (my wife and sons) have got extended for another 2 more years. Now we have got VISA until Apr 2012.

With this as a context please answer my queries.

1. As per UKBA those T2 (ICT) visa processed on or later 6th Apr 2010 are not eligible for ILR. Is it applicble in my case ?
2. on 21st June there was another news that T2 ICT extension will be provided covering their 5 years of stay. Is it applicable for me?

Thanks and regards
SPV

If your initail WP is intracompany transfer and extended your stay as T2 ICT then no worries.....You're covered and eligible for ILR after completing 5 yrs.

Thank you Sharath,

What is your view with regards to the 21st June 2001 in UKBA news regarding Tier2 ICT ?

I am satisfying all the points mentioned except 'you were granted the maximum period of 3 years' leave to remain under Tier 2'. The reason i am not because my company process the T2ICT and i can request to a maximum of only 2 years.

Will i be part of extension ?
