main applicant having tier 1 general visa must should have 6months remaining in his visa to fetch her wife to the uk? or there is no concerned whatever the time is left in his visa to bring her wife to the uk as dependant of Tier 1 general?

FOR dependents there is no time line to come

only main applicant should have valid visa

It may be a good idea to apply after extension because as far as I see, you will be paying the fee's twice in a matter of months.
