Tier-1 Visa ongoing application

Hi All,

I have an ongoing application for a an initial Tier-1 general visa (Switching) along with a dependant. We gave our biometrics on the 10th May and since had not received any correspondence from the Home office. Today, one of my clients told me that they had a letter in their post dated 10th June from the Home office for verification of a few of my Invoices.
They have replied today with the requested information so hopefully it should reach the relevant caseworker within this week, I would like to ask senior members if this hasn't left it too late? does the case worker usually have a maximum waiting time after which they stop working on the case. I would appreciate any response, as I am a nervous wreck at the moment.
