Visa Expires Before Course Starts

Post by Fatkma » Wed Jul 13, 2011 9:38 pm

Hi all,

My visa expires in August 06, and my course starts in Sep 07. therefore violating the rule of 30 days.

Does this mean that I have to go back to my country for that 1 Day????

What can I do to stay here and not go back to my country.

I am a legitimate Student who got an offer in 2/2 universities applied, but i did not get the CAS due the this One Day.

I heard that some universities can sort this issue out.

Please advise as im about to lose my head.

Possible, if you make a valid (CAS included, etc.) postal application shortly (perhaps a few days) before your leave expires.

the university should give you a CAS when you have accepted an unconditional offer and provided they are satisfied you meet the requiremetns for them to sponsor you - whether you can apply from within or outside the UK is not one of these requirements.

I don't understand why they won't give you a CAS due to this one day - as they would need to give it to you for you to apply from outside the UK too. It's up to you whether you choose to risk it and apply from within the UK. If they won't give you a CAS for this reason I suggest you complain.

Which university is it?
