Dependant over 18 before expiration of T1G visa

Post by JoseRoy » Tue Jul 12, 2011 8:25 pm

My children (dependant) will be over 18 before the expiration of our Tier 1 General visa. Can they still be included in my application for extension to stay?

No. Each dependant over 18 years would have to use "PBS dependant" Form seperately. Fee for the PEO is £850 / applicant and postal is £550 / applicant.

Every dependant ... irrespective of age .. needs to use a separate PBS (dependant) application form. The application form to be used by principal migrant does not have provision to "include" dependant(s).

The form explains the fees required ... reduced (fees) when applying at the same time as the principal migrant, and full (fees) when applying separately (i.e.- not at the same time).
Life isn't fair, but you can be!
