Applying for PSW from Pakistan before 2012

i am new to this forum. I have a question regarding PSW.
My student visa is expiring end of August and due to me finishing late because of a resit i would have only two more days of college left and so to apply for extension. Homeoffice, as is on there website, is likely to give me an extension of no more then 10 days. My result wont be out until mid october and that means i cant switch to PSW.
My question is can i apply from Pakistan for PSW before april 2012?
i would appreciate any further advise on this matter

yes you can apply from pakistan as long as you satisfy the Out of Country application requirements i.e. maintain a balance of £2800 in your bank a/c for 3 months etc.. and as long as you apply before April 2012
