HSMP extension

Dear sir/madam,
I've applied for extension nearly more than month ago & worried about the same..my details are as follows..

Application Type: HSMP Extension
Application Sent: July 7, 2006 by special delivery
Received by HO: July 8, 2006
Payment Deducted: July 19, 2006 by cheque
Acknowledgement dated : July 21, 2006

after that I have not heard from them, & my visa's expires on 18th Aug 2006.

Please guide me
