CAS before 4th july - can they work - URGENT PLZ HELP

Hi there,

I have a quick question! My brother is going to apply for his student visa for september intake and now with the new rules in place students studying in private colleges does not have the right to work.
His CAS was issued before 4th of JULy can he still work??


Will be really grateful if you can all clear this confusion for me as some people are saying that he will still be able to work.

it is the date of application and not the date of the CAS that is relevent for permission to work.

is he directly sponsored by the private college or has his CAS been issued by a publicly funded HEI?

he is sponsored by a private college...

I thought he couldnt work as well, but have been hearing these rumours that of CAS was issued before 4th July he can still work. So just wanted to double check

before your bro travel check your college that is still in register, coz many colleges under scanner now
