Can I travel?

Hi all,

By God's grace I have received my Tier 1 dependent visa recently. I have been waiting for this good news for a long time.

Now I would like to go to UK. My wife just came back on her holidays to India couple of weeks before. She will be going back to UK in first week of August.

My query is being her dependent, can I travel to UK one week before she arrives there? Or I have to travel only when she is in UK?

Your quick response will be much appreciated.

As this is your first time yes both should leave together or the dependent should leave after she enters UK.

Thanks for your quick reply. Would senior memebr also like to add their opinion if any different from already stated.

Also just like to add that I have been in the UK for last few years. I was on other visa, just came back last month when my previous visa expired. Does this allow me to enter in the UK on dependent visa before my wife joins me after 1 week?

Senior memebrs kindly reply asap.

it really doesnt matter, you can travel to uk while your wife in india.
