Transfer to next semester

Hi. My wife got visa last month and her classes are starting from 1st august.

Due to some medical problems she cannot travel to UK.
I am thinking to transfer her to next semester which starts January. her current visa is from july 11 - nov 12.

my question is will she need to apply for a new visa or she can travel on the same visa as long as college is agreed on this?
