Showing information on bills etc for spouse visa application

Post by Abelel » Wed Jul 27, 2011 12:25 pm

Hi,

My husband and I are preparing a spouse visa application for him to come and live with me in the UK.

As I pull together all of the required information, I start to feel that I am showing an awful lot of information, e.g account details on utility bills etc, bank statements etc. Something someone could easily use from an identity theft perspective. I'm not suggesting that's what UKBA staff are up to but I'm wondering if there is advice on how to present all of this information which shows what is necessary without submitting all my details.

Thanks.

A

Sorry you have to submit them as they are. I've never known anyone that was identity thefted by a UKBA worker! They just get to pry and that's what you allow when you apply to stay/live/visit the uk.

If you do not show the required information they may not issue your visa - simple!
