I came to the UK a long time ago. ILR was stamped in my passport. Never felt the need to change my passport to a British passport until now.

I want to travel to other countries without having to worry about a visa.

My children and my grandchildren are born in the UK.
Both my parents are died here in the UK, they did not have a British passport
I have only left the UK to go on holiday.

What want to know what do I need to do apply for a British passport considering that I have lived for over 40 years.

You fill out the form AN as you should already fulfil all the standard requirements.
