We have handed over our forms to the NCS at Wandsworth registry office on the 16/8/06 and we were told that the processing time would be really quicker than usual. Can anyone give us an indication of how quickly is "really quickly"???
The IND website is still saying that the average wait time for Naturalisation applications is 5.17 months. However on this Board applicants using NCS have recently reported that it is taking only 2 to 4 weeks before they hear back.
However none of that is guaranteed and even NCS-routed applications can still take months.
Do let us know when you get your "application successful" letter.
With the Home Office there no guarantees, but turnaround times of 2-3 weeks are the norm.
See the thread named (gosh) "TIMELINE AFTER APPLICATION SUBMISSION HERE, PLEASE?" for countless posts detailing quickly -or not- our members' applications took.
Good luck!
