job offer & swapping from WHM to HSMP

Post by NZ_engr » Fri Jul 09, 2004 3:12 pm

Hi all
I am seeking some advice. My HSMP application was received on 7 April 2004 (ref no 163***). I have entered the UK on my WHM visa and this week secured work in the profession that I applied for the HSMP with.
I am wondering whether I should try and fast track my HSMP application given I now have a job offer or should I just sit tight??
I think that latest advice said that they are no processing applications received 12 March meaning that mine might be processed in about the first week of August meaning that if I applied for fast tracking it wouldn't put me that much further ahead given it takes 2 weeks for this to happen and it is already 9 July??
Is this correct??
Any advice gratefully accepted.
Cheers

yes you are right. It takes 2 weeks for processing your appl. if you fax your offer. Good to know that you got a job offer. Fax it to HO. If they give the result in 1 week then it is much better for you. Try your luck. By the way 12 mar. was on 29th of june, they might have reached way down by now.
