Any one got 4 Year extension without job

I understand that HSMP holders can get one year extension if they are unable to get a job in first year of their HSMP visa but show that they are actively searching for a work. (HSMP with one year EC )

I am wondering if there is any one who got Four years extension withOUT getting a job ya self employment.

I would appreciate comments from members!

As far as i know, no body in this forum got extension on self employments, the home office gives tough time to self employed.
A lot of proofs are required for self employed persons.

In an earlier post, a member confirmed that he got extension on self-employment. He specifically stated this to encourage members who are in that category.

In respect of unempoyment, the extension guideline would appear to indicate that it could be given if there is evidence of 'taking appropriate steps to be economically active'. Infact the major conditions for self employed applicants are preparation of biz plan and opening biz account. However anyone who has succeeded on that basis should please post.

Finally those who got one year rather than three years extension should confirm if they were employed or not
