Director Loan

Post by Natedogg » Wed Aug 10, 2011 2:21 pm

Hi Everybody,

I am looking to extend my visa later this month. I am the sole director of my 100% owned limited company & have been repaying a director loan to my company at a rate of £30 per week during the last year. The payslips produced by my accountant show a net dividend amount. When I am paid, the actual dividend paid is this net dividend less £30 for the repayment. I.e. There is a £30 disparity between the net dividend shown on the payslip & what is actually paid. The payslip does mention this £30 repayment however.

I will be including a letter from my accountant explaining the above along with total amounts paid etc. Has anyone here dealt with this issue and do you think the accountant letter would be sufficient to address this?

Thanks

Are you taking any salary as well or just dividend?

The way you are doing is ok but little confusing. Normally You dont do like this. It can confuse Case Worker as well. So better to avoid this.

For dividend you use DV and not pay slips. You can always create new DV with the net amount to match with your bank statement (if you are not on the edge of earning band).

Hope that is helpful.
