Calculating days of absence

Post by jojobabyb » Thu Aug 18, 2011 5:47 pm

Hi, from reading older posts, I understand that when calculating days of absence, you exclude both the departure and arrival day. My question is one of my holiday to Venice only lasted one night overstay, i.e. 15/12 - 16/12. How does this count toward my days of absence? Another question is should I put "15/12/2007" under the "date left the UK" column and "16/12/2007" under the "date returned to the UK" column? Many thanks!
