company name on payslip is of parent company ilr in 2 weeks

Post by ric1982 » Fri Aug 19, 2011 8:50 am

Hi.

I am due for ilr in 2 weeks and would appreciate if someone can ans following question

I am applying under tier 1. I work for a company owned by a bigger parent company
. The payroll for everyone at my company is done by the hr in the parent company. So on the payslip the company name is printed of the parent company. My contract has the child companys name. The salary and and the name printed on the bank statements matches on the payslips. So the only problem is the name of the company name on payslip and bank statement which is the parent company name.does anyone thinks it will be an issues?

i had similar problem. when i joined the company it was called X and after a year from I joined them they changed their name to Y. Initially X had their own HR department and payslips used to come from them. but after they changed name to Y the HR was over taken by mother company Z. the result.
Pay slips come from company name Z, while in the bank reference they still show up as company X (3 yrs after they changed the company name to Y). but in reality i work for company Y which is neither mentioned in payslips nor in salary refernece in bank account.

all i did was asked my HR to include a letter stating this

" so and so works for Y who was formally known as X which is a wholly owned subsidiary of Z"

simples.
I had my ILR granted last month and there were no questions of whatsoever regarding that.

hope this helps.

Thanks for the quick reply. Do u think will be an issue idiot don't include letter from the company. The company that I work for is not very supportive or helpful with letters.
