Why did she apply for a visa in the first place if she didn't need one? Having done so and being refused she should have stuck with it and applied again. She will be subjected to a much more searching and lengthy examination on arrival in the UK than she did when she applied in her own country, and the presumption will be to refuse. She may be able to overcome this, but there isn't much you can do to assist other than answering any questions you may be asked.darkoracle wrote:She applied for a general Visitor VISA, she was refused on the grounds of insufficiency funds to cover her stay and not enough reason to return.
Since then she has got a credit card and upped her bank balance as well as getting a letter of appointment from her new employer on a company letterhead, with a company stamp.
for the money that would cost you she might as well lose the money you paid for the flights and apply again for the visit visa. Given that she is coming to visit her boyfriend especially they may consider that she does not have sufficient ties in Namibia. Why didn' she provide proof of her employment before?darkoracle wrote:Is it worth getting a immigration lawyer on standby to council her in the interview ?
