2 year settlement visa

During the 2 year settlement visa for spouses(wife) and getting ILR at the end of it, do I need to stay with my husband?He will be going abroad for a fellowship during the 2nd year. My husband is the one who will have citizenship and I will be on the souse visa. I will be grateful for a reply.
