Age Points - HSMP (Post Nov) > Tier 1 > ILR

Post by barker » Wed Aug 24, 2011 6:16 pm

Hi,

My wife got her HSMP in May 2007 and then got her extension under Tier 1G in May 2009. She does not fall under the HSMP JR and will be applying for ILR in May 2012.

While there are quite a few posts on the subject of age for Tier 1G extensions and settlement under HSMP JR, its been difficult to find a discussion on calculation in place for ILR under the Tier 1G route. The website seems a little ambiguous on this point stating that it would consider points at the initial grant of leave. However the points calculator does not accept any input for first grant of leave before the year 2008.

Is there anyone who has got their ILR successfully under the HSMP Non JR + Tier 1G route and can let me know what basis their age points were calculated on.

Seniors / Moderators, your comments on this would be appreciated

Read Age: notes (33-34).
