Hello, I have submitted my 4 tier application on 26th Aug. I have two issues I am uncrtain about, both related to 10 points granted for funds:
1. "Established presence"- I read carefully a lot of info about it. However, I am still not certain whether I fit in it or not. I have completed one year abroad course as a part of my undergrad degree in the UK under 4 tier in 2009-10 (1 academic year). After that I have had one C-visit visa to the UK. Do I qualify for it? However, just in case I had more money on my account (enough for 9 months) and I wrote on my self-assessment form I need 7200 (amount for 9 months)...but they don't take this literally right? They see for themselves.
2. My bank statements.
2.1. I have two accounts one is in Czech Rep another one in the UK. For the money in the UK I asked my bank to produce bank statement stating the sum and duration during which the money has been untouched (28 days). Due to their "policy" they refused to state the duration it has been untouched for. So I have a letter confirming that on 23rd Aug I had xxxGBP on my account. Additionally to that I asked them to print out transaction statement (to prove 28day thing..). They said ok, but again according to their policy...they can't include my name on it, only the account number (I had a huge fight about it, but basically with no result). So I submitted a letter with all my details and transaction statement without my name. However, I explained it briefly in a cover letter (plus, if officer bothers to look...the bank account number on transactions is linked to my name on cover letter). Do u think this is ok? Or is it a reason for refusal?
2.2. To prove my funds possessed on Czech account I brought like 5 proper original bank statements (that are however in Czech language-but there is nothing to translate, it's just about the date and sum of money). I used same account and same bank statements for all my previous UK visas (I have 5 visit UK visas, 1 student visit, 1 4 tier) and it was always ok never got refused or was never asked for translation (although I know all documents where text is important are meant to be translated). Do you think it's ok?
2.3. In guidance it says, if your course is 9 months long we need to have funds for up to 9 months. What does that mean? We can have less. I need (if I don't have established presence) 7200...but the sum tends to jump 200-300 pounds up and down because of volatile exchange rate. I can't get refused because of 200 pounds out of 25000GBP right?
I am very grateful for whosever help. I know I am probably over-analyzing it, but you know how it is....when you care a lot you worry a lot!
Thanks
