UK citizenship waiting times

I applied for UK citizenship in mid June 2011, its been around 3 months and I have not heard back from them. when i call them to check, they say that my application is waiting in a queue ... is it normal to have such long waiting times these days?

Quite normal these days... look at the sticky post at the top of this forum... I apllied middle of May and still waiting.... though it now appears application made around May are beginning to get decisions.
