HSMP Pre Nov 2006 Dependent Query

Post by Cf_firefly » Fri Sep 02, 2011 2:19 pm

Hello Everyone ,

I am on a HSMP pre Nov 2006 category and My ILR is due in Nov 2011 and My Wife who is on a dependent visa - ( Tier 1 (General ) Partner) since June 2009 . From June 2009 , my wife is in Uk only leaving abroad only once for single absence of 96 days .she will completing 2 years and 4 months in UK on Nov 2011 when her ILR is due .

My query is about that single absence of 96 days ? Will my wife ILR be refused on basis of that absence ?

Thanks
Firefly

Absences do not count for dependant visa, her status will follow yours.

There are no residence requirements for dependants of migrant workers. Days outside the UK are not counted in the same way as they are in your case as a HSMP migrant.
