Hi,
We got our ILR yesterday in Croydon, under HSMP JR
These were concerns I had before the appointment:
1) We had speeding tickets (3) that were over 5 years old, but was unsure whether to declare or not.
2) We had a stamp in our passport that does not correlate to any trips we took. I believe the immigration person put a stamp with a wrong date onto our passport, I wasn’t sure whether to declare this or not .
3) My husband is director of his own limited company—(small salary, more paid in dividends). So I was concerned about if we had sufficient evidence to prove we paid taxes ,etc.
I ended up declaring points 1 & 2 in the application with lots of evidence. And for point 3, I had statements from HMRC showing self assessment statements, etc.
Ok, so our appt was at 9:00. We arrived at 8:30 to go through the security and payment process.
At 9:25 we were called to a window to present our case to the caseworker.
She asked us first for our application and passports.
Then she asked for our p-60s for all 5 years and payslips for past 3 months. She looked at the p-60s and said, why are all the p-60s the same amount? And my husband said because my income is supplemented by dividends.
So we gave her the dividend vouchers. She then asked if we had an accountant. To which we said, “yesâ€
