PSW Dependant (Wife) Supporting Documents List

Hi All
I will be applying for my wife's dependant visa from Pakistan. I have been here almost 5 years.

I have the following questions:

Question No. 1
Is the tenancy letter important? and I live with my relatives and they are willing to write that we can live with them, but are reluctant to write that I pay them rent. What is advised in this situation?

Question No. 2
How recent bank statements do they require? Not more than 30 days old? OR Not more than 7 days old?

Question No. 3
Is the English Language test required?

Question No. 4
Does the tenancy agreement address has to be the same as all your other documents e.g bank statements etc? Or you could say that I have been living at this address but when my wife comes we will be living at this address from xx/xx/xxx (2 months from now)?

Question No. 5
Once she gets the visa, Is there a time limit for her to make an entry in the UK?

In addition, I am writing a brief list of the documents that I am compiling, please advise if anything else is required.

Main Applicatant's Documents
1. Copy of Passport
2. Copy of my PSW Visa
3. Marriage Certificate
4. Wedding Photos
5. Sponsorship Declaration
6. Letter from Employer
7. Last 3 months' payslips
8. Bank statements (with required funds for 3 months)
9. Proof of communication (Email, Telephone Bills)

Dependant's Documents
1. VAF10 (Visa application form)
2. Passport (Original)
3. Previous Passport (Orignial)
4. TB Test
5. Form B (Family Particulars Form)
6. ID Card (Original)
7. Her Telephone Bill
8. Travel Itiniery

I would sincerely appreciate answers and please back the answers with links to official website where ever possible.

P.S. If I remember anything later I will suplement this but posting a reply to this post.

Read the PBS dependent guidance where you will find answers to most of your questions.

Hi,

I have read the guidance, but they are very brief and there are so many other things that you need to supply that they dont mention. I know of cases where they have supplied all the documents but not addirional documents and the visa was rejected e.g photogrpahs ans emails etc.
