hi my dad and grandparents were all hk citizens. im not sure if hk citizens automatically counted as uk citizens or if they needed to apply. they are all dead now. what are the chances of me applying for uk citizenship? i am not an hk citizen, and never lived there.

As answered elsewhere, most people from HK ceased to be British when sovereignty was handed over to the Chinese.
