ILR for wife

Hello,

I would like to request forum members to suggest me whether will be problem in obtaining ILR for my wife.
My wife first entered the Uk 1st january 2007 on WP.She has been working in the Uk since.She is currently on tier 1 general visa-which was extended in august 2011.she will be eligible to apply for Ilr in dec 2011.
The problem is she joined work part time on 15th august 2011 after 9 months of maternity leave.Due to some family problems,she needs to live in India for 2 months from 15th october 2011. she is going to quit her job.
mu question is
1. do you have to show the earnings to the same level when extension application for teir 1 was made
2. she will be unemployed when she applies for ILR, will this lead to refusal.

I would like to than you all in advance for your help.
