Does my wife have to enter the UK within 3 months..?

Hi,
New to this board and I apologise beforehand if this question has been posted a thousand times.

I'm a British citizen and have applied for my wife's settlement Visa (from Bangladesh).

Does my wife have to enter the UK within 3 months of being granted her Visa?
She is still studying and won't complete her degree for another 7 months. If the Visa is granted in the next couple of months (and I anticipate it will), can she then delay her entry to the UK until she completes her studies?

I would greatly appreciate a clear answer to this question as it's giving me sleepless nights.

Must she? - No.
Should she? - If she enters UK any later than 3 months from the date the leave is issued, she will need to apply for an extension before becoming eligible for settlement.

Thank you for the quick response.

So as I understand it, she does not HAVE to enter within 3 months, but if she doesn't then when it's time to apply for ILR I will have to apply for an extension to cover the absence so that she completes 2 years in the UK with me?

Finally, will this cause serious problems for her ILR or will they consider her delayed entry reason as acceptable?

It shouldn't cause problems, but it will cost you a lot more money in Visa fees.
