ILR dependant and cohabitation documents -- please help

Post by fansn » Thu Sep 22, 2011 1:07 pm

Dear all,

I've booked my ILR application today but have some questions. Could you please help me, many thanks!

1. The confirmation from UKBA requires me to bring my dependant, but many people go themselves with out dependant, is that true? A bit confused.

2. My wife and I got married in Oct/2009 when she was a student. She switched into T1G dependant visa in Oct/2010 but still a student to graduate in November this year. We spent two years together so she's eligible to apply ILR with me, right?

3. cohabitation documents: bankstatements in separate names covering two years, my two years' payslips, my wife's several payslips in 2009, my NHS registration in 2009, 3 NHS letters for my wife in 2010, COA, marriage certificate in 2009, my son's birth certificate in 2011, direct debit notification letters from BT, virgin mobile and Scottish Gas in 2009, my wife's disclosure(2009), my council tax(2011), 2 or 3 old letters from acdamic orgnizations. Some utility bills are in joint names but unfortunately they are online bills and printed out for reference only. Are these documents looking sufficient?

Many thanks for help!
