MN1 Child Application Reference

Post by ric1982 » Fri Sep 23, 2011 10:34 am

Hi,

I have sent the MN1 Section 1(3) for my 7 month old daughter to UKBA about a week ago. We added two referees. One is the post master not relative. Another one is her uncle. (as we had issues with finding referees for her.) Today I called UKBA and they said another referee needs not to be her relative!

I called NCS Liverpool many times before sending this application and also took advise from the council Service. Both ocassion they said its ok becouse child is only 6 months old.

Has anyone had any rejections?

P

The HO is less strict on referees for MN1 application under 1(3) for young children so you should be OK (people got approvals even with no referees). Worst case, the HO will write to you and ask for another referee. They will not reject the application.
