Does Gibraltar qualify for ancestry Visa?

I am a Canadian citizen and my grandmother was born in Gibraltar. I was hoping to use that to qualify for an ansestry visa. No one (boarder agency, immigration office) has been able to help me.

Gib is not part of the UK, nor is it part of ROI before 1922, or a British registered ship or aircraft.

Sadly, the answer to your question is "no". Gibraltar is of no use to you for an ancestry visa application. It will be refused.

Do you have any other European ancestors?
